The Ultimate AI Tech Stack For Service Providers

Hey, Joey here.

AI tools aren’t the problem.

Trying to stack 14 of them into a business that just needs 3?

That’s where people get stuck.

This week’s issue:

📌 A spreadsheet of marketing prompts + a guide to get more out of GPT-4.1

📌 A new video: 8 ways service providers can actually use AI-generated images

📌 The AI tech stack I recommend if you want fewer tools and more results

Let’s get into it.

DEEP DIVE
The Ultimate AI Tech Stack For Service Providers

Spoiler: it’s a lot fewer tools than you think.

I’ve helped people with their tech for 7+ years, and 9/10 they’re asking the wrong question:

“What can this tool do?”

Wrong mindset.

The better question is:

👉 “What do I need this tool to do for my business?”

If it doesn’t move things forward, it’s just noise.

Let’s cut the stack down to what actually matters.

Start with just one LLM

Pick your fighter:

  • ChatGPT

  • Claude

  • Gemini

They all work.

Pick one. Stick with it for 3 months. Don’t switch back and forth hoping to catch “better output.”

Learn how to prompt well. Save your workflows. Build context.

Most people using AI are just messing around. If you stay focused, you’ll lap them.

Also: skip the “router” tools like OpenRouter that try to give you access to every model in one app.

They sound smart, but you lose memory, project features, and the long-term context that actually makes AI useful.

Then add tools based on what you actually need

LLMs are just chatbots and don’t “do” anything.

So if you want to start stepping it up for in specific areas of your biz, here is a breakdown:

Lead Gen / Marketing / Content

Same goal here: bring in people who want what you sell.

  • Apollo AI – for finding leads and scraping data

  • Instantly – for AI-personalized cold outreach that doesn’t sound like spam

  • n8n / Make – to connect your tools, run automations, and power agent-style workflows

Sales

Do not let AI handle your sales calls. Please.

Nobody is closing high-ticket deals with a chatbot. (yet)

But you can use AI to build your proposals and send invoices — fast.

Take your sales call transcript, feed it into a prompt, and auto-fill a proposal. Send for approval. Done.

Client Communication

It’s a 24/7 assistant for your clients that runs off your brain.

You train it once, and it can answer common client questions without needing you to be on call all the time.

Does it replace real conversations? No.

But it will save you from answering the same “just checking in” email for the 47th time.

Service Delivery

This depends on what you offer. But here’s the deal:

If your service is online — funnels, content, copy, SEO — AI can do a good chunk of the work.

Right now, your edge is being the human who wraps that output into a service and delivers results.

This won’t last forever. You’ve got a 2–3 year window to build smarter.

This stack isn’t fancy. It’s not “complete.”

It’s what actually works if you’re trying to move faster, save time, and deliver better without overbuilding.
